On Saturday May 22 seventy five of the best natural athletes in the country graced the stage at the 2010 Circle City Championships. The show had an amazing energy around it with standing room only at the finals! Jennifer Dale made sure that the show ran meticulously on time and the athletes were very well informed and taken care of.

All competitors were given gift bags full of excellent goodies including a FULL SIZED TUB of Quake generously donated by Scivation. Anytime Fitness, Europa and Scientific Exercise Training (www.sett2win.com) made sure that the gift bags were also stocked with samples from various other supplement company’s. Overall winners were given additional full tubs of protein donated by Beverly International. Other show sponsors who donated to the competitors were VPX, Nutrex, Dynatize, Cyto Sport, and Maximum Fitness Supplements.

Things were kicked off with the physically challenged class. Eric Keen, the class winner, was given a standing ovation from the audience for his stellar performance and great physique that he displayed. Jay Manzione edged out Chuck Zhang in the teen division. In the 60 plus class Chris Shelton amazed the audience by taking the class win and showing that you are never too old to be in great shape! Veteran Ken Montgomery won the 50 plus class. Ken took top 5 in the very competitive novice division and won the Master’s Overall. Dennis Slavens edged out Joe Johnson in the top quality Master 40 and over division.

The Novice short Omar Henderson had amazing symmetry and size to help him win the class. Zack Sizemore impressed the audience with his size and hardness taking a very tough Novice medium class. Chavis Ray won the novice tall class with very impressive hardness and freaky vascularity! In the Novice Overall Omar Henderson took the class. Omar then went on to win his class in the open short division edging out Zack Sizemore.

The open tall class was taken Jeremy Perrin who edged out runner up Joe Johnson and Novice class winner Chavis Ray. Congratulations to Jeremy Perrin for being the 2010 Men's bodybuilding overall champion!

In woman’s bodybuilding Debbie Black beat out Kerri Irish. Both athletes displayed great size and symmetry. In the end Black’s combination of size and leanness were dominant. In the tall division veteran Traci Ostendorf won beating out Susan Parker. The overall went to Debbie Black.

Woman’s figure was full of top notch, quality competitors, who really made the judges work! In figure novice first time competitor Jeannie Keating swept the class! Runner up was Karen Hill. Jeannie was very well defined and displayed superb feminine muscle for a first time competitor. In figure Novice B Brenda Krieg beat out Lisa Murdock to take the class. Kris Huerta won the Novice C class edging out Lori Davis, who was ecstatic to improve on her performance from last season! Returning competitor Marisa Wheeler took third in the class also showing HUGE improvements over last year. In novice D Kristen Campbell displayed exemplary symmetry and was able to take the class beating out runner up Jessica Hansbauer. The overall was tight but in the end the Novice overall went to Kristen Campbell.

The masters figure was HUGE. Show promoters Jesse and Jennifer decided to divide the class into 2 category to place out more athletes and give the judges a break. Lori Piper took the short class edging out Maria Mobasseri. The tall class winner went to Donna Weber who beat out runner up Lori Davis. The overall went to Lori Pyper.

Lori repeated her victory in the open short class beating out Maria. Donna Weber took the medium class edging out Kris Huerta. Kristen Campbell beat out Jessica Hansbaurer to take the tall class. In the end the Overall Circle City Figure Champion was awarded to Lori Pyper.

The MC for the event was Jesse “The Shark” who kept the audience engaged and the energy flowing. The next event in Indianapolis is The Natural Indiana to be held at the same venue on September 11, 2010. This event will have a Novice division (open to athletes who have never placed first in any organization) and the Open overalls will be awarded IFPA Professional eligibility.

The Dales had a great, seasoned team back stage helpers and judges who kept the show moving smoothly so the athletes can get over to show Uno Pizzeria where they received 10% off their bill by mentioning the show!
