What
would you be doing if you weren't a figure competitor?
Wow, I really don't know
what I would be doing if I weren't competing. I am happy
and blessed that I have found my true passion, something
that keeps me focused and alive!
Long
term bodybuilding ambitions
My plans are to compete
on the pro level in spring of 2012 and hopefully place
high enough to compete in Worlds later in the year.
What
do you like most about bodybuilding?
I just love going through
the process of seeing my physique change. I also like the
mental toughness it brings, which separates you from the
majority.
What
do you like least about bodybuilding:
The stereotypes of being
"on" something. I am a natural athlete and believe you can
achieve anything in life with hard work.
What
advice would you give to other competitors?
You have to love the
sport, enjoy the ups and downs of it. Just be yourself,
love yourself and take pride in what you have
accomplished. Not everyone has the same training regimen,
nor the same diet, so learn "your" body. And it takes
patience and time to build the perfect physique, but
that's the glory of it in my eyes, to take yourself to the
next level and constantly have a goal, a challenge ahead
of you.
A
little bit about me...
I am a proud mother of
boy/girl twins. I have been working as a freelance court
reporter going on 17 years. I love my job and the
versatility it gives me to raise my children with my
morals and values, but yet lets me have a career that I
worked so hard to have. I also work part time as a
personal trainer. I enjoy photography, traveling, cooking.
Life in general!.
