I don't have any cheat days or meals. I do not feel good when I eat processed foods so I just stick to my whole fruits, vegetables and meats.

Favorite Automobile

I'm not really into cars, but if I had to choose one, I like the VW bugs (they are cute) and the Camero in Transformers (BumbleBee)

Idea of a Perfect Vacation

On a beach in Maui, Hawaii. There is a lot of fresh food grown locally there and it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived and I can't wait to move back there.

Favorite TV Program

Smallville...it's the only show I watch on TV

What would you be doing if you weren't a Bodybuilder/Figure Competitor?

I do so many things....I'm an author (writing nutrition and fitness books), run an international training business, compete in track and field, am a actor and fitness model, so even if I was not competing, I would still be busy and involved in the industry. I LOVE it; it's a HUGE part of my life.

Long Term Bodybuilding Ambitions

I've actually started training for fitness competitions. I am not a gymnast but I love teaching myself handstands, flipping and challenging my body. So, look out for me on the fitness stage soon!

What you like most about Bodybuilding?

I love the challenge that it provides to sculpt my physique and step outside of my comfort zone in doing a routine (for bodybuilding and fitness). It's fun and unlike other sports, it requires 24/7 dedication, which means that I stay on track towards my goal.

What you dislike most about Bodybuilding?

The amount of "bad" information that is out there about training and contest prep that encourage people to reach their goal to get on stage in an extreme and unhealthy manner.

What advice would you give other competitors?

It's a subjective sport, so it's best not to be attached to the placings that you receive. The only person you are really competing against is yourself. Did you come in at your best? If so, then you won, regardless of what the judges say.

A little more about you...

I love challenging all aspects of myself, so when I'm not focused on bodybuilding, I also do kung fu (which is a mental and physical discipline) and take acting classes.
While I'm very type A, in that I like to accomplish lots of things, the best time in my life is when I lived in Maui, Hawaii. My husband and I ran a bed and breakfast and lived very very simply. We lived in a room that was 10 feet by 5 feet and didn't have a car so we hitch-hiked to get around. While it was stressful at first because I'm used to being so busy, it reminded me what was most important in life.
