TPS Strongman
Seminar
Join us
on Thursday July 28th from 6:00 to 9:00PM for some
Strongman (and woman!) training!
CJ Murphy and his team of trainers will bring a truck
full of strongman gear and teach the most effective
events for strength and conditioning. These guys are
some of the most knowledgeable power lifters and
strongman competitors in the country.
CJ
Murphy is a regular contributor to Men’s Fitness
magazine, a renowned strength coach, and has published
several books on strength and conditioning.
They will cover the Atlas Stones, the Farmers Walk,
the Log/Axle Press, and the Super Yoke. These are the
top 4 events to get you strong, jacked, and in shape,
here’s why:
Atlas Stones build strength everywhere, especially in
the posterior chain and back. Training with stones is
in my opinion one of the BEST exercises you can do to
build superhuman strength once you have the basics
covered (squats, cleans, presses and pulls). |

The
Farmers Walk is great as a conditioning tool, it
builds vice like grip strength, it builds torso and
upper back strength and it bullet proofs your ankles.
It is a 1st choice for football players, hockey
players and anyone looking to be indestructible.
The Log/Axle Press are 2 great varieties of presses to
add something new to your training and keep it fresh.
The log in particular is a great alternative to the
barbell overhead press for those with shoulder issues.
These 2 can also be used to train explosively.
Finally, the Super Yoke builds a bulletproof
midsection and really fortifies the ankle/knee/hip
helping to prevent injury on the playing filed or in
the ring. It also makes you really strong all
over.Adding these events into your training will make
you a human machine. You will find strength that you
didn’t know that you had. You will build confidence,
too. Strongman makes you dig deep and teaches you not
to quit, ever. If you are looking to get better at
everything, you need to go to this seminar. I’m not
exaggerating. Adding these events to your training
will make your lifts go up; it will shore up
weaknesses and build your conditioning like nothing
else. Remember, weakness is a crime. Don’t be a
criminal!
