History

The NGA Mountain States Body Building, Figure, Bikini and now Weightloss Championships have offered a foundational platform for many athletes both young and old for well over a decade now. The NGA is the largest organization in the world for natural amateur bodybuilders, Today the NGA has become the largest sponsor for competitive amateur bodybuilding contests in the U.S. Currently the NGA has registered athletes worldwide and is dedicated to serving and educating athletes about the dangers of drugs in sport. Our amateur bodybuilding contestants MUST BE a minimum of 7 years drug free!

The Show 2011

This year’s show is sure to be a full venue. This competition is an open invitation to both male and female competitors in the eight Intermountain States: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The Show will include a Kids Division, Teen Division, Men’s Bodybuilding, Women’s Bodybuilding, Women’s Figure, Women’s Bikini and Men’s and Women’s Weightloss Champions, with divisions in each. An additional Sponsor’s award will be presented for Overall Best Poser.
Promoters

We are Kelly and Laurie Moore and are your new Mountain States Promoters/Show owners. We believe that our experience in both the bodybuilding world and business world make a great combination for a hugely successful 2011 Show. This Show is about you and making sure that you have the best imaginable experience. We are honored to dedicate our time and talents in continuing to produce a terrific competition where you the athlete can showcase your phenomenal physiques and accomplishments.

Men’s Bodybuilding
Men’s Teen Division, Men’s Novice Division, Men’s Masters Division (40 years and older), Men’s Open – Lightweight (under 164), Men’s Open – Middleweight (164 ¼ – 184), Men’s Open – Heavyweight (184 ¼ & over)

Women’s Bodybuilding
Women’s Novice Division, Women’s Masters Division (35 years and older), Women’s Open

Women’s Short – 5’5″ and under, Women’s Tall – 5’6″ and over, Women’s Masters – (35 years and older) Note: If there are 10 or less contestants this will be one class

Women’s Bikini

Women’s Bikini (bikini height classes to be determined after all entries have been received)

Kid’s Fitness

Kids 12 and under bodybuilding category which will be a “noncompetitive” division giving the youth the opportunity to experience the sport. The kids are always an audience favorite!
